THE INTELLIGENCE AGE

From Scarcity to Abundance

My new book, The Intelligence Age, is now in its final edit and will be published and available soon

The book explores a transformation that I believe is only beginning to reveal its scale: artificial intelligence is becoming not simply another technology, but a new productive force. For the first time, intelligence itself — historically one of humanity's scarcest and most valuable resources — may be becoming increasingly abundant.

[ SYNOPSIS ]

AN INTELLECTUAL EXPLORATION OF THE INTELLIGENCE AGE

For the first time in history, intelligence — long among humanity's scarcest and most valuable resources — is becoming abundant. In The Intelligence Age, Michael G. Healy argues that artificial intelligence is not simply another technology, but a new productive force whose full scale is only beginning to reveal itself.

The book examines what that shift could mean for productivity, work, science, energy, government, individual freedom and the future organisation of civilisation. Its central question reaches beyond what AI will do to us — toward what humanity might become capable of when intelligence is available on an unprecedented scale.

The possibility is extraordinary: a progressive movement from scarcity towards abundance. But technology alone will not decide the outcome. The choices we make about freedom, power and human agency will determine whether the Intelligence Age fulfils its promise.
